About the Journal

The Journal of the Brazilian Musculoskeletal Pain Society (JBMPS), ISSN 3086-0334, is the official scientific publication of the Associação Brasileira da Dor Musculoesquelética – ABDOR. It is Open Access, and there are no publication fees. The journal operates on a continuous publication model and is aimed at all healthcare professionals dedicated to  pain-related research. The review process is double-blind and peer-reviewed.

We adopt the Creative Commons CC BY license, which allows distribution, remixing, adaptation, and creation based on the original work, including for commercial purposes, provided proper credit is given to the original creation.

The journal will start assigning a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to all previously published articles, ensuring a permanent and unique identifier for each work. This will allow articles to be easily located, accessed, and cited in future research.

The journal accepts articles only in English, in the following categories: Original Articles; Update Articles and Editorials (by invitation of the editor-in-chief); Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Articles, and Technical Notes.
